150 Sports American's Pastime Drew Fans The crack of the ball hitting the bat to the cheer of the fans draw players to America's favorite game. Physical fitness and work paid off to form a strong Junior Varsity baseball team. Pitching, hitting, and fielding proved to be the outstanding points of the players. Extreme pride was shovvn in the team by the many fans vvho supported the Bearkats. They were coached by Herb Allen. Top right: John Cicack runs for a pop fly during practice.
