Few in Number, But High in Spirit District Championship went to the fleet-of-foot Boys Cross Country team this year after they demolished competing teams. The nine-man team raced to victory at the Univer- sity of Houston meet held at the Glenbrook Golf Course. Twenty-three teams participated. The team also ran at the Rice University Invitational meet where they made their best showing of the year. Though they were few in num- ber, their strength and endurance was outstanding. Annually, Klein sponsors a Boys Cross Country meet host- ing many area teams. This year, they placed second in Division ll. Coach Andy Farrera led the team to a victori- ous season. gym ...a........,-........ -W, wb ,, 3-.. ,sr I QL Ni Fi --4-v-.-aaa..-0....,...,,..,..,.,...A Top: What the Boys' Cross Country team looks like from a squirrel's point of view.
