JV Cogers Control Court J-U-IVI-P, jump ball, get it, get it vvas the cheer for the Junior Varsity basketball team this year. They played with strong defensive moves and controlled the courts well. Fundamentals were executed with skill and the boys had great maneuvering ability. Two double overtimes occurred for the team this year also. The boys were aggressive and usually rebounded from any loss with another vvin. The team was coached by Chet Cook. Top right: Byron IVlickel walking on air. Sophomores Sink Tough Opponents Although there were no permanently chosen captains, the entire Sophomore basketball team consisted of leaders. A cooperative team, the boys played extremely well together. Often tired and sore at half-time, this group was always optimistic and ready to play more. ln spite of difficult opponents, the team managed to vvin over half their games. The Sophomore team did a great job in repre- senting Klein. They were coached by Joe Dickerson. Top: Mike Haag has got this one.
