The Sophomores Built For the Future The Sophomores built for the future. said Coach Don Rather. Even though plagued with many injuries, the Bear- kats came through with flying colors. They won three of their hardest district games by scores of 17-7, 6-0, and 35-O against Spring, Cy-Fair, and Jersey Village, respective- ly. Their Goal Was High and Success Their Reward Coach Allen's boys proved themselves superior to all opposition this year with the combined records of 18-1-1. This includes 10 shutouts. They scored a total of 459 points to their opponents total of 65. The Gold team was unscored upon in all of their district games except one in which Bryan scored 8 points to Klein's 30. The Blue team vvon all of their district games also, except for a close game against lVlcCullough.
