Varsity Ends Season With Spring Victory The team began the season by winning three in a rovv against lVlacArthur, Galena Park, and Aldine. The tables turned when they played Westchester with a close score of 28 to 31. The Bearkats hit St. Thomas 19 to 7. Com- petition became rough with losses to Conroe, Cy-Fair, and Bryan. The team came back strong by beating Jersey Village 14 to 7. Our friendly rival Spring was beaten by the Bearkats 41 to O. Top right: Bearkat breakthrough. Painting signs, and going to all the games kept the cheerleaders busy. The Freshman Cheer- leaders are: Missy Hatfield, Angie LeBeouf, Michelle Morgan, and Heather Paulson.
