Each member must contribute work by shelving books, filing cards, and searching through magazine stacks one period a day. Members who help in the AV department deliver, as well as demonstrate, the mechanics of the equipment available through AV. Together with sponsors, Librarian lVlae Howard, lVlrs. German Club Celebrating Oktoberfest early in the school year. Der Deutsche Vereinf' sponsored by Mrs, Ruth Barney, provided interested students a deeper understanding ofthe German culture and language. In November. members went to New Braunfels to attend the annual Wurstfest. At Christmas time, German carols sung by club members to German families in the Klein community made an especially nice season. ln February Dr. John A. Klein spoke on German heritage in this area. Participation in the Klein Deutschest and a banquet in the spring rounded out the year. The officers are: Rhonda Kornfeld, president: Valerie Champon, vice-president: Tammy Bruch, secretaryg Ginger Ellis, treasurer. SENIORSS' . Science Club The Science Club members are responsible for the 1974-1975 Student Directory and ushered at Kleln's 1975 Science Fair. The Science Club also planned trips to the Sam Houston Symposium, Sea Aroma, Texas Medical Center, Big Thicket, and Galveston Beach for a first hand study of the ocean.
