Meeting deadlines kept the staff busy drawing layouts, cropping pictures, and writing copy. Beorchat The staff of the Bearchat, recipient of the Award of Distinguished Merit in Journalism from the interscholastic League, has produced an entertaining and interesting full-size newspaper for the student body this year. Adhering to the Code of Ethics and the highest standards ofthe profession of Journalism, the staff has worked hard to cover school events, comment on pertinent matters of interest, and offered delightfully entertaining features for its readers. Reporting, writing, re- writing, editing ancl laying outthe paper have ended with sighs of relief and pleasure from the staff when the Bearchat rolls off the presses and they see the evidence of their work. itopj Linda Brown and Diane Dalessadro seem amused at the cartoon for the paper. irightj The second semester newspaper staff members are iseatedj left to right Kathy Cat- mull, Editor Kayna Kemp, Susan Graham. istandingj Randy Leago, Lisa Bullock, Roger Evans, Tim Cruz, Rick Devine, Bryant Langleis, Judy England. ibottorn leftl Ann Robertson ponders on an idea. ibottom rightl Artist Tim Cruz works on a drawing. 23B!Clubs
