Band Precision, determination, pride, and talent describe the Klein High School Band. Underthe direction of Bob Blanton, the Bearkat Band brought home a Number 1 rating for the first time in Klein's history at the UIL Marching Contest held here in November. There are two performing bands, a symphonic band with 85 members and a95 member concert band. Both bands work togetherto form the marching and contest bands. Several concerts held for the student body and for the public showed the professional talent of the Q members. The Bearkat musicmakers also marched in the Houston f Rodeo Parade and performed for competition in the Galveston-Sea Arama Chamber of Commerce Marching Contest early in April.
