The thrilling 15-14 victory over Baytown Sterling in October was the high-point ofthe '75 Varsity football season. The tension grew and the crowd roared as Gary Hopper intercepted the ball with only 17 seconds left in the game. The Bearkats marched to the goal line for atouchdown and a 2 point conversion to win the game. The loss put the only dent in Baytown's season record.
