Finances Handled by Clerk Clerk of School Districts 9951 and 9652 is the title held by Mr. Harold Ashley. Most of his work deals in the handling of fit nances, such as paying bills and salaries. All in- surance must go through his offices. Another job he has is the signing of contracts. These contracts consist of everything from land purchases and new construction to contracts for teachers. The above jobs are only a few of the many which make up his work. Time Divided Among City Schools Dividing his time into thirds between the elementary schools and the high school is done by Assistant Superintendent Garry Robertson. Two-thirds of his time is spent at the elementary schools supervising the audio visual aid program and the purchase of instructional supplies - such as maps, globes, rulers, and chalk. His high school work includes many de- partments. He plans the course of study, the curriculum, the purchasing of maga- zines and books, and principal and inservice meetings. In General Administration he handles all the bus schedules and problems which arise concerning the buses. All totaled these activities add up to a very complete and busy schedule, QQ 5 2l

Mr. McKinny has been a great as- set in helping us re-establish Interclub Council. He also gives a lending hand to our Student Body officers so that our Student Council can be run in an efficient manner. He at- tends ail the meetings and gives his seal of approval to the activities. He obtained his B.A. degree at the Augsburg College and his M.A. degree at the U. of Minn. Both col- leges are located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The first year is always hardest, but We hope that he feels it has been very successful, as do the student body and faculty. I 2,5
