I-le is able to witness the beauty and learn about the industries of his county. One of the beautiful attractions of Klamath County is Crater Lake. The beauty of this lake is breathtaking to all who see it, whether they are seeing it for the first or fiftieth time. Situated high in the Cascades, this lake offers great recreational opportunities both summer and winter. 7

Various mill ponds filled with logs waiting to be processed is a well-known scene in this area. Lum- bering is one of Klamath's biggest industries. Because of the numerous stands of timber that stretch out across the country, Klamath County has become recognized as a great log- ging center.
