HONOR SOClli'l'Y The llonor Society, in addition to forwarding its aim of rewarding and promoting a high standard of scholarship among the students by presenting' King Solomon . the silver cup, and the honor pennant to the class with the highest scholastic average. has been very active as a Club. holding functions. such as parties and meetings. The Society ushered at the Freshman Reception and at the annual Parents' Night. They computed all the honor rolls at the end of each six weeks and at the close of the semester. The club also read the honor rolls at assem- blies. HOME IQCONOM IC Cl .VB l'his club was organized in 1932 by Mrs. Margaret jackson, and is comprised uf a group of energetic, service-giving girls. The purpose of the club is to give services of a special nature to the school, and to promote interest among its members in home arts. Some of the regu- lar duties of the club are to repair the football, basketball and track suits. band hats. and to take care of all school costumes. Several points are given per hour of work and when a member has obtained one hun- dred points she is entitled to a pin of the National llome lfconomics Club from which this club has a charter. .-Xny girl who has had one semester of home economics is eligible for membership. Slil CLUB The Ski Club. a new club this year. was organized with the purpose of encouraging skiing among the high school students. lts Ot'ficers are: Melvin llowie. president: llarry Cioeller. vice-president: lietty llauger, secretary-treasurer: and Lloyd Drew. lirater reporter. Only thirty-six members will be admitted this year. and in future years members will be admitted by a majority vote of the old members to till this quota.
