These men are responsible for the movement and safety of all the aircraft aboard the Kitty Hawk. The yellow shirts are the flight directors. The men in blue shirts are the chockmen and the elevator operators. The men of Crash S Salvage wear the red. The green shirts are the men who launch and arrest the aircraft. The men in the purple shirts provide the fuel for the various aircraft. ln all kinds of weather, at any time of the day or night, the men of the Kitty Hawk's Air Department may be called upon to prepare and get the aircraft into the air.
