QUINN, is responsible for all aircraft operating 1 i I i within 50 NM of the ship, except those operating visually under K control of the Air Officer. lts mission is to coordinate, schedule, account for and control aircraft arriving or departing from Kitty Hawk. This mission is carried out by air wing briefings, flight scheduling, pre-launch briefings, record keeping, handling of flight plans and assisting the Operations Officer in carrying out Search and Rescue responsibilities.
