Stamina: Key to a Good Soccer Team Kittrell College’s Athletic Department has added a new sport to its Intercollegiate Athletic Pro- gram; the sport—soccer. Although the team failed to register a win for the three game season, they showed great potentials for a more competitive season next year. Coach Golatt stated that: ‘“‘Many of the players had never had formal training in the sport but showed an innate desire to learn.”’ Outstanding performances were displayed by Paul Graham, Artis “Otto” Rawlins, Redden Leggett, and William Taylor. Graham, a slender 5’7”, 130 pound Sopho- more, performed as a 6’5” 230 pounder on the field. He has proven to have great skills in the game. Rawlins, Leggett, and Taylor are credited as being most valuable team players. —Bobby Rorie, Sports Editor
