Royalty Becomes Miss Kittrell In a formal extravaganza on February 14, Miss Carolyn Townes, a charming and personable Sophomore, was crowned Miss Kittrell and presented to an acclaiming au- dience or loyal subjects. Carolyn, an active Business Education Major from Warrenton, North Carolina, also reigns as Miss Off-Campus Club and is a member of the Commerce Club, the Bull- dog Staff, and the Cheering Squad. Coronation Highlights Homecoming Activities Pageantry and excitement filled Kittrell’s gym on February 8th as the Bulldogs celebrated their Home- coming activities. Daisy Byrd was elected by the stu- dent body to represent them as Miss Homecoming on the festive occasion. The cage contest saw the Bulldogs bow to the A T Aggies of Greensboro by a narrow margin.
