M FOREWORD Swiftly, inevitably college days pass into semesters, into years, and finally into the bitter-sweet moments of commencement. The memories of these two eventful years are stirred now and again when we recall early ambitions, successes and failures, friendships, fresh- man beanies, instructors, basketball games, meetings, dances, grade- points, cafeteria lines, and countless other events. The Yearbook Staff and the Sophomore class take pride in pre- senting the 1968 Bulldog, an abstract collection of the people and events that filled our final year as members of the unique Kittrell College Family. IN MEMORIAM The memory of Miss Mary Sue McClain is dear to many; the members of the Bulldog Staff wish to pay tribute to this kind and generous woman who very tragically departed this life. Miss McClain received her B.A. degree in Health and Physical Education from Saint Augustine’s College in January 1966 and joined the Kittrell College family the following February. i During her stay at Kittrell, she was loved deeply by everyone who knew her. The welfare of her students was her sole interest. She would willingly lend an understanding and sympathetic ear to any student who had a problem, and she invariably had a smile for everyone. We all dearly miss her sincere kindness and cheerfulness. The memory of Miss McClain will long linger in the minds and hearts of those who knew her; each of us is better for having known her as a teacher and friend,
