Strike - to be or not to be? On September 3, l986 the faculty and students of Armstrong County hit some hard times when the teacher: of our district felt it necessary to strike for their rights. On September 23, the seniors were sent to Ford City High School to begin their last year of education. With fingers crossed and hopes high, we finally returned bacl to our own high schools to begin regular classes with the rest of the students. We all knew that there were still rocky roads ahead, but we made it through. And with the understanding that we all had to do what we felt was right, we now leave the strike behind us and remember all the great times of our high school years especially in I987. 4 l '1 . 4 Introduction
