This annual rec- ord serves as a register of sports, projects. classes, and stu- dent life in general. After graduation each of us will follow different paths: some of us will attend collegeg others will enter technical in- stitutesg still others will go directly into the business world. All of us, however, will remember the experiences ofour high school life. The Kit-Han-Ne staff hopes that this yearbook will help you to recall fond memories ol' Kittanning Senior High School. Alma Maier Lyrics by Mildred Morztgonzerx' MUSIUI' by J. I1 Colonna By the winding Allegheny There's a spot that we adore We pledge our faith to Alma Mater And our love forevcrmore. Of friendships made in our dear high school Binding ties shall always stand So here's a toast to old Kittanning, The best school in all the land. We rise to cheer Kittanning High School All our hearts to her are bound Let's lift her praises to the hilltops, She's the best that can be found. She stands for all that's good and loyal, For her standards she wins fame May we all go on ceasing never To bring glory to her name. 4 In Memoriam The Class of 1970 has suffered the un- fortunate loss of two of its members. Thomas Heckman and John Puskar died in automobile accidents before they completed their educations. Although we must go on without them, their pres- ence will be sadly missed. One teacher in particular has en- couraged and aided us in our class activities. Friendly, sym- patheticg willing to help, are all words to describe this person. In gratitude for all he has done for us, we, the Class of 1970, dedicate this issue ofthe Kit-Han-Ne to you, James Yackmack.
