' ' gwwz The Student Council of Kittanning Junior High School is a governing body that gives the student a chance to voice his opinion. The coun- cil consists of a representative from each home- room, the four officers, and our sponsors, Miss Foreman and Mr. Leech. A STUCO meeting is held each Wednesday to which a representative or alternate must attend. At each homeroom meeting each student has a chance to voice com- plaints or suggestions that should be brought before the next council meeting. The STUCO has sponsored many proiects this year for community and school betterment, such as a Magazine Campaign, Selling Shares, Dances and a Monitor System. The past two years the Student Council has purchased a showcase and bulletin boards for the school. This year we plan to spend approxi- mately S400 for items for the school.
