MISS JOSEPHINE WILSON C E would be entirely remiss were we to fail to recognize the passing, late yesterday aftemoon, of a member of the faculty of Kittanning High School. The death of Miss Josephine Wilson has come as a distinct shock to all of us . Miss Wilson was a teacher in the greatest meaning of the word, a teach- er whose primary interests lay with the girls and boys with whom she came in contact and with the upbuilding of the profession of which she was more than just a member. Miss Wi1son's passing will mean even more than a professional loss: I feel a deep personal loss. In saying this I know that I express the feelings also of every boy and girl in our school, of each member of the faculty, of the administration, and of the Board of Education. Let us dedicate the program this moming to the memory of Miss Josephine Wilson to whom we can pay a very deep tribute by saying simply that she was a good teacher. May we briefly bow our heads in memory. fTribute to Miss Josephine Wilson by the Superintendent of Schools at assem- bly September 18, 1953.1 Burt Dunmire 7
