This year We have selected for our book the theme, Our School . lt is our desire to portray exactly our school life, to give pictures of the different classrooms, and to show the various activities available to the students of Kittanning High School. 4 4 In order to illustrate this, We have set aside some pages devoted entirely to pictures of class- rooms and students at Work. Our aim is to pre- sent by this book an accurate picture ot the school year 1944-45. With this thought in mind We present to you the 1945 Kit-han-ne. The team went to a football Camp at Limestone where they remained for a week. They returned home and played their first game on September 8 with New Bethlehem. After Win- ning their first two games they traveled to Punxsutawney only to be defeated by the Groundhogs. The next game with the Freeport eleven was a defeat. These were the only defeats K.H.S. suffered this year. The team was made up of a group of boys who played together excep- tionally well. Quite a few of the boys were hurt this year, but they seemed to manage to play in every game. For winning the games, the credit all goes to the team, Mr. Milliron and Mr. Carlesi. 57 5 f , - I , H 35 L HWY .
