..r. oJHJ Now the people of The Kingdom had many hostilities that needed airing. A lot of these hostilities were for the knights, but of course the peasants couldn ' t show these or else the knights would report them to the axemen. Since the king didn ' t want open revolt he devised a method whereby the peasants could have supposedly friendly battles with neighbouring kingdoms using all sorts of different weapons such as footballs, basketballs, and hockey sticks. Of course the peasants weren ' t quite as friendly as they were supposed to be, but the king didn ' t mind because they were burning up their hostilities. Another great reason for having the sports was that it used up most of the money that the schemes, clubs, and committees earned so that the councils ' books worked out evenly. The peasants had a great time participating and everyone was happy that is except for the peasants who didn ' t get to participate in the sports or didn ' t enjoy watching them. mmsm
