finder ron al Mer t ez Hung ball to the Norwm 30 yrrd lme where they were stopped cold Agarn late ln the quarter Krslcr started rollrng and thrs trme were not to be denred Therr touchdown came w hen Drck Scott threw a pass to Bob Anderson for the score but they were not able to make the extra ponnt A few mnrutes later Norwm came back to score and tre the game They also mrssed the extra pomt The second lalf proved to be ill Norwm but marnly because of a stubborn Krskr defense they were only able to score one touchdown The hnal score was Krskr 6 Norwm 12 In the second game wrth Lrnsly Instrtute our boys were able to make a better showmg than agamst Norwm and were able to come out on top of a 25 7 score This game proved to be one of the hardest fought games of the season It was featured by the spectacular play of Brll Moore who was able to brealc through for three touchdowns one commg on a 45 yard run of an nntercepted pass Bob Brown scored the other touchdown The Krskr eleven was due to run 1nto drfhculty m the thnrd game of the season wrth Penn Hugh School Thrs game was hrghlrghted by the many penaltres and fumbles whrch frequently hampered the KlSkl team The team went off the held at the end of the flrst half at the long end of a 14 0 score But nn the second half they came out a determmed group and outplayed the Penn boys but were only able to score one touchdown One of the most spectacular plays of the game came when Bob Anderson prclced up a Penn fumble on hrs own goal llne and ran It 85 yards only to have xt called baclc because rt had already touched the ground When the fmal w hrstle blew the score was 14 6 wrth Penn on top On Homecommg Day October 13 a hard hghtrng but rnexperrenced Mercersburg team trred vamls to stop the Krslu eleven The hrst score of the game was made by Anderson on a cross buclc from the erght late rn the hrst quarter The second quarter w as a see saw battle wrth nenther team able to score Bob Brown started the second half off wrth a bang when he broke loose on a faked reverse better known as the Sally Rand play from the 1946 KISKIMINETAN l - r .
