One combination of factors necessary to the effective functioning of school facilities is a competent staff in the princip-al's office in- corp-orated with conscientious parents and in- terested citizens of the community. All work handled by both the Nipher Principal's Office and the Senior High Principal's Office is of considerable importance and thus demands the expert attention given to it by the office secre- taries at Kirkwood. Equally as important to the operation of our school system is a group known as the Parent Teachers Association. Their responsibility is mainly one of promoting better teaching conditions and acguainting others with the ne-ed for improvement in school affairs. Throughout the past they have intitiated new methods to be installed in the various aspects of school life and have alWCIYs been active in such campaigns as the bond issues, which promise more ideal conditions for edu- cation.
