KL0G..-.-- '-'-'L-1 .L--...- THE HIGH SCHOOL MYSTERY The students of the high school presented UThe High School Mysteryn, a novel mystery comedy drama, on October 26, under the direction of Miss Elizabeth Rowland. The curtain goes up on the first act of HThe House of Terror,H and reaches an exciting climax before the audience realize that they are witnessing a dress rehearsal. Just as they discover this,a real mystery begins-a mystery that in- volves the members of the cast, the director and all those concerned with the production. The leading lady faints after being warned by a mysterious voice to leave the cast or suffer the consequences. Believing this to be a prank, the director orders the students to go on with the rehears- al. Everyone is anxious to do their best because the author of the play is to be present, At the end of the first act, the play is again interrupted by the elements of the real mystery, A kidnapping takes place, a murder is almost committed and the members of the cast are thrown into a panic when they discover that someone is out to ruin their performance The comedy element creeps in and relieves the suspense. In the end the owner of the mysterious voice is seized and the rehearsal is over.
