Rales and herpes and rapid heart, Lobar pneumonia has got a start. Thus I could ramble the whole list thru, And name all the symptoms Sir Osler knew. With all of my knowledge to guide me and rule me None of these cases could ever fool me. All this I was thinking while strolling one day, When outof a house dashed a man old and gray, And wringing his hands in a manner quite wild, He cried- Oh, Doctor, come save my child! Then I straightened my spine and I threw out my chest, CFor it flattered my pride to be thusly addressedj And I said, My dear man, I can give no prognosis Until I have made a correct diagnosis. At last when I found the befwhiskered old duffer Said I, What disease did that young scoundrel suffer?
