Q V There we were greeted by the members of the faculty of the A. S. V v y I with Mitosis and Amitosis. , ' In our recollections of the beginning, do not let us forget our introduction to a sophisticated class of people who were known as the Lower Sophs. From these learned persons we became acquainted with many facts. Firstly, that it was nicer to be told about Missouri mud than to slide through itg secondly, we learned whether the shade of green suited our particular style of beauty or notg and thirdly, that we could be beaten at basketball. l After our initiation into this school of learning we paused for a moment to become better acquainted with the members of our own class. We found that we had a repref sentation from many of the states of the Union, as well as from Canada. It is true that we have lost some of the original members of this organized body of students, and one has even changed her name, yet with the addition of some names to our list, we feel that the class of January '26 has an ideal number on the roll book to absorb the knowledge delivered to us through lectures and quizzes.
