At our class meeting Mrs. Hayden was chosen as our class sponsor. Our class officers, annual staff, and student council representatives were elected as follows President --------------------- L86 Secretary-Trea surer ----------- Iane Annual Staff ----------------- Jerry Lea Student Council ----------- Marilyn Lea The upperclassmen were overcome with laughter when we entered the school build ing on the morning of initiation, after the Sophomores with the help of the Juniors and Seniors, had so graciously smeared us with an overdose of lipstick. All the students attended a hay rack ride given for the Freshmen on the evening of September 16th. The party was planned and given by the Sophomores. On October 31st, the annual Halloween party was given by the Freshman class. The party was held in the high school gymnasium. The teachers and their families were invited. The students were sent on a scavenger hunt, and when they returned we played games and had a dance. Pop, hot dogs, potato chips, and candy were served for re- freshment. Both Ierry Breer and Everett Kogler went out for baseball, basketball, mixed chorus, and Boys' Glee Club. lane Shier, Lea Bachofer, and Marilyn Hays sang in Girls' Glee Club, and Mixed Chorus.
