The trials and troubles whlch lay ahead, Our tender young minds could not foresee. Through those early years we ambled along, Taking each grade in its stride. Till at last the portals of High School we entered, And we entered with joyful pride. For four long years we labored hard, To prepare ourselves for life. Sometimes the sailing was smooth enough, Sometimes it was loaded with strife. At last the day is drawing nigh, When the last bell for us shall ring. But we'll always remember these simple words, nNot at the top, but cl1mbing.n We labored and learned as we trudged along, Throughout those long and eventful years. Onward and upward we steadily climbed, Till our goal we've reached amid cheers. So here's to you, Ole hlowa High, We bid you fond adieu, You've done your part and now at last, We humbly say nThanksn to you.
