CLASS PROPHECY The prosperous clty of Kinta lay expectant beneath the June sunshine of the year 1970 Crowds of gaily dressed people were gatherlng ln the stadium of the spaclous high school grounds Thls stadium, by the way, was the pride of not only the school, but the entire community, for it has been completed at the cost of thousands of dollars and was the scene of many lmportant out door gatherings Today its seats are rapldly f1ll1ng with hundreds who want to have a part ln the reunlon of the class of 1950 'A fine class,W asserted gray haired old Mr Donahue. 'As fine a class as the school ev r sent out I was Super intendent oi the school when they draduated and we were all certainly proud of them ' 'Are most of the members here? asked M Sherly who of course was also getting quite old by then 'I'm told they are expectlng a large representation ' WHB spoxe truly, for in a few minutes eager faces were watching the approach of the big Air L1ne Limited, whose fllght was carrying, as lts cargo, the class of 1950, and not a one of the class was miSS1Hg The stage was set and all was ready for the reunion of the class who was graduated twenty years before As the big plane came to a ston and the na nv re be gan getting ofl, e large group of old friends of the class of 1950 began rushing toward the plane to greet them, an who should be leading the group but Mr Perryman, who has been sponsor of the class back in 1950 M Perryman now getting a little bald on top of his head was bursting then with sheer excitment to see the members of the class again Close behlnd Mr Perryman trotted Mr Sherly and M Dmuhn who were eager to see lf they could recognize all the mem bers of the class of l95U and sure enough they weren't very hard to recognize although in the group were heads wlth a graying lock and heads beginning to lose their locks, but the old fire of enthusiasm burned in thelr eyes and youth glowed 1D thelr hearts.
