“. ga- CLASS HISTORY ONE BRIGHT MONDAY MORNING, A GROUP OF LIV- ELY YOUNGESTERS ENTEREO THE DOOR OF KINTA GRADE SCHOOL. WE WERE EMSARKING ON OUR LONG CAREER OF SCHOOLING UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MISS JESSIE JONES. OF THIS GROUP, ONLY FOUR WILL GRADUATE THIS YEAR. THEY ARE: BILLYE LEE HULSEY,LILLlE NEELEY, JANICE ERLEEN STEELE, CHARLIE SOUTHARD. WE BECAME A vERY BIG CLASS OUR THIRD YEAR OF SCHOOL. OUR TEACHER, KATHERINE PEBWORTH, HAD A VERY HARD TIME KEEPING UP WITH THE THIRTY SIX PUPILS. How TIME DOES FLY? WE WERE IN THE FOURTH GRADE AND vERY PROUD OF OURSELVES. MISS MYRTLE YOWELL wAS THE TEACHER, THE NEXT YEAR, WE FELT GREATER STILL, AS WE WERE IN THE FIFTH GRADE WITH A NEW TEACHER MRS. CORA MCKINLEY. OUR SIXTH YEAR WAS MORE ROUTINE, WE WERE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH THE SAME TEACHER ENTERING THE SEVENTH GRADE WE REALLY FELT BIG BECAUSE WE MOVED FROM THE GRADE BUILDING TD THE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING WE FELT WE WERE AS BIG AS ANY OF THEM, ONLY T0 FIND THAT WE WERE MERE BABIES NE HAD MORE TROUBLE KEEPING A BOY FRIEND THAN WE DID GETTING LESSONS OUR EIGHTH YEAR WAS VERY EXCITING, FILLED WITH ALL KINDS OF ACTIVITIES OUR FIRST PLAY 'BILLY'S FIRST DATE' WAS THE HIGH POINT OF THE YEAR NE LOCKED FORWARD TO GRADUATION DAY IT FINALLY ARRIVED AND WE WERE HANDED OUR DIPLOMA THE NEXT YEAR FOUND US IN HIGH SCHOOL AND STARTING FOUR MORE YEARS OF SCHOOL THE GLASS INCREASED THIS YEAR THE SCHOOL wAS GIVEN AN ASSEMBLY PROGRAM WHEN THE HGREEN FRESHMANSH WERE INITIATED BY THE SENIORS HILIARIOUS TIME wAS HAD WHEN WE HAD TO DO ALL SORTS RIDIOULOUS STUNTS OUR SMALL ONE ACT PLAY THAT YEAR wAS USO THE DOCTOR SAIDH WITH MRS CORINE RABON AS SPONSOR ,gsxsh J' X Nxkgf m-NNNNL if 4 F. , -N ,Up .- .-.4 -f..m.,,-.,,,- I-.,.mxHb5 Q3 fxf 51 X Ill Dfw ,I I . :XX N . , f o I o 0 X .
