In the district court in Cincinnati, Blanch sits on the bench in the traditional black robes, trying the cases as they are brought before hers She advanced very fast since finishing law school in Cleveland Ralph travels all over the country selling the products of the Busi ness men's Association of Kinsman He has several cars of the latest mo dels Sis is married after taking her nurse's training to help out in tak ing care of Bob and Bob Jr In her spare time she does private duty nursing Eddie took a job ln a factory in warren and we hear he has become foreman of a group of men He is making good money which he plans toS8V6 so he can retire at an early age Florence has become a public health nurse as she had planned She is now out in Montana assisting in the blizzard disaster area Carrie has entered the business world and is now the traveling sec retary of the May Company in Cleveland After Mary Etta got married, she and Art moved to Pittsburg and set up another dry cleaning establishmeht and store After finishing business school, Georgia became an accountant at the First National Bank at Kinsman She is doing very well now Kinsman has grown considerably in the last few years and so the bank does quite a bit of business Marguerite is now private secretary of the president of the Pearce Motors Company, Harold, of course If you are looking for a truck, car, or tractor, just go into the large building on the site of the Old Sharp's Garage Harold will sell you anything with a motor Oh yes Marguerite types 90 words a minute now Janice has settled down to the life of being a housewife and raising a large family of small children She is kept busy cooklng meals and do 1ng the house work She still enjoys horses and riding though When she has any spare tlme she likes to go riding in the fields hadean's home is still in Kinsman She has two houses, her present home and the old Kinsman home Froggy 15 now vice president to the com pany of Sherman and Wlll18mS You w1ll flnd Jim by just going to the auto races He races cars on the track now In wlnter he works ln a lumber camp Carolyn has taken over the desk in room ll of Kinsman High School She teaches the students their Engllsh now Miss Fltts is still teachlng at Finsman She never did get married althou h everyone tried hard to get her married well, there it is Don't blame me for it since it was Just a dream and anyhow it may never come true . - . . .- . . . . 1 . . .. The fall of l9J7, and a brand new school bulldlng start in the flrst grade he can boast that our class started in the flrst grade 1n this grand new building Qfa55f3 Sfugfovga saw the Class of '49 is the first to have Miss Thompson was our unlucky teacher he had approx1mately twenty flve ln our class when we started One memory of that flrst year wa the tlme when Niss Thompson lined us up and paddled all of us Those of us who started in the first grade and are still with us are Janice Betts, nddie Clute, Carr1e Gilmore, Blorence Lathews, Blanch hephew, Lary Etta Ogllbee, Harold Pearce, Eleanore Thomas, and Georgia Underwood By the tlme we entered the second grade, we had broken into the rut of school Carolyn Knepper joined us thls year We had Miss Mayborn for teache ln both the second and third grades In the fourth grade we had hrs allen for teacher In the fifth grade and also the slxth we had hr Sh1vely Larguerlte Carmlchael Joined our class in the blXth grade Le looked forward to the seventh grade because we would go upstalrs, but when the tlme came, we went back that Fall wlth heavy hearts Our class mate, Loran Dibell had been killed in an accldent that summer Our class advlsor for the seventh grade was Irs Bralnard Ou most memorable class party was our flrst one, whlch was held in the Home Economics room We had Chlll and soya bean cocoa, a war tlme substltute Pass the sugar, Please' lh1S 1S the vear that Janice Betts left the Vrs Hoffman was had a Halloween Party to walk through so Sarah Garland joined our class Mary Etta Ogilbee and last semester our class advisor in the elghth grade That year we at Carolyn KnepDer's house There was olenty of water some boys got thelr socks wet In trying to get them dry by putting them on the flre place, some got burned Joan Hoover moved away th1s year 1DltidtlCHS were a llttle rough but we surv1ved them and were full fledged breshmen had H135 Brown for our class Florence Lathews we gained Iary ntta Ogllbee and members Jeannette Thompson and Margaret Kerr he al 3dV1 or That year we Janioe.back, and as new o lost alll Yoonce ln the Sophomore year we ained Ral h Reakes g p , Jlm Lauk J1m amy, and Lilllan Innocenzl he lost John Stebbins, Dick Hall, and Margaret Kerr Miss Fitts was again our class advisor for our Junior year he gained a new member hadean Crowe We lost Jim amy and Karl Garlock This was our b1g year, our money maklng year we had fun Cand headaches! selllng hotdo s and candy at the basketball games, and pop at the baseball games he also sold salt water taffy Ca teacher's delight ln study halll and stationery he and the Sophomores combined and had a swell ChP1Stm8S party at VISS Bltts and Liss Brown's home we all had a wonderful tlne also, th1s year we put on our Junlor play 'Llndy Lou' hen, of course, we entertalned the Senlors at the JUn1OF and Senlor Banquet Last fall, we started our last year of learnlng and good tlmes at good old K H S , and then we lost two of our classmates, L1ll1an Inn and sarah Garland Our Class xdVlSOP again th1s year is Iiss Fitts, had no 7d1HS Our senlor play 'lwixteen', w1ll always be remembered or us The operetta 'In an Old kentucky Garden' will always be one fine m6mOPlES of K H S we are look1ng forward to the Banquet ocenzi and we by all of our Class I1 nt, and Commencement ' I' .
