Schrnstock Brenda Stegman, Student Council President, kept the cabinet and all members working during the 1980-81 school year. The year began with the annual mixer and Freshman initiation. October was active with the Homecoming Dance and the selling of carnations. The Christmas tree was decorated and a contribution to Medical Lodge was given. Before leaving for the vacation, students were treated to a movie, The Man in the Iron Mask, kool aide and cookies. The new year brought new ideas. StuCo raffled two cakes and two KHS duffle bags at each home sport event. Elections were held in April with the candidates providing speeches for the student body. Activities which lasted throughout the year included filling the pop and candy machines and picking of hall Procters. A new vending machine was also purchased. Lyceums were scheduled throughout the school year. The two bulletin boards were decorated for special events and holidays.

Marcy, Treasurer A new and welcomed addition to FHA this year was the membership of three boys. They and the female members hosted their annual candy apple sales at the Homecoming Football game. A bake sale was held as a money making project. Later in the year, FHA participated in the Hospitality Day held at K-State and they held an Early Bird Breakfast for all the members. FHA OFFICERS: S Rush, President; M Burkhart, Vice-President: M Cam. Secretary; M Scheve, Treasurer. This year Kayettes participated in many activities. On several occasions they worked in the concession stand during football and basketball games, and attended the Regional Conference held in Jet-more. The first semester projects consisted of having a float in the Homecoming parade, giving Christmas treats to the faculty, and holding a bake sale as a money making project. K A Y E T T E S During second semester on February 19. they hosted the Unit Conference for Area IV.
