Pep Chib was busy throughout the school year with poster parties, secret athletic locker pals, and moneymaking projects which included a Sarah Coventry Jewelry Party besides supporting the Coyotes. Pep Club's biggest project was Homecoming which they were in full charge of. Homecoming activities included a morning assembly, afternoon parade, halftime ceremonies, and dance. Homecoming theme was You Are the Sunshine of My Life. Another project started this year was Parent Night Buffet Supper which took the place of Parents' Night ceremonies held during a designated game. This was held for both football players and their parents, and also for the Mid-Winter athletes and their parents. All coaches, managers, and faculty that helped with that particular sport were also honored. Pep Club was run by a point system this year. Members were given points for attending games, poster parties, meetings, and other projects. Points were tabulated at the end of the year and letters were presented at Awards Night. Sports are what makes up K-Lettermen. To be a member one must participate in a sport sometime throughout the school year, and the person need not have lettered in a sport to belong. The Lettermen started their active organization off by sponsoring a soup supper. They were able to install an 8-track stereo system in Big Bertha for everyone's enjoyment. Money was raised at other times to help pay for the scoreboard clock and the Universal Weight Machine. New letter jackets were purchased by new and old members. To close out their yearly activities, the Lettermen sponsored a steak feed. First Row: Mr. Ice, Sponsor; J. Heit, C. Rush, B. Inman, A. Burcher, B. Sparke, B. Mathes, J. Habiger, L. Schmitt, P.
