Senior players, Clark Minson, Mike Kamphaus and Dave Cornelius. 30 FOOTBALL 74 Sweat, pain, hardship and long hours of practice, this is what football is all about. People who only see games may not fully realize all that is involved. Football is a game of emotions. It is the feeling that you have when your team is behind by a touchdown. It s love for your teammates and hate for your opponents. It s the feeling you get inside when the game is over and you're so exhausted you can hardly see straight to walk in the dressing room. Most of all it is that feeling you get when the clock runs out on your last game and you know you have tried. Fulls, P. Laudick, D. Stanton, J. Katz, D. C. Carlson Dedication is the key to being a good wrestler. A good wrestler will work five to six hours a day every day. In wrestling, unlike other sports one mistake can find you on your back hearing the awful sound of the referee slapping the mat, signaling defeat. But the feeling you get when with your last ounce of strength you pin your opponent, is all the sweeter because you did it sheerly by your own effort. A wrestling match is only six minutes long but, it can be the longest six minutes of your life. Scores KHS OPP.
