Industrial Arts Teaches Vital Skills Striking workers and employers try to iron out their differences at the conference table. Under Mr. Kirby's and Mr. Murphy's experienced guidance, the Industrial Arts department accomplished many exciting projects. It took entries to the Industrial Arts Fair and also sponsored a very active Industrial Arts Club. Mr. Murphy had an unique happening when a strike occurred in his metalworking class. Lyle demonstrates one of the principles of Physics by sitting on a board full of nails, the points are up. The Advanced Biology class dissecting pig embryos. The students of natural science were busy all year becoming more aware of the phenomenan of life and living things. Throughout the year the school was donated many interesting and unusual creatures, a walking catfish and an armadillo, being two of them. Home Ec. Students Learn Creativity Home Ec. I class prepared the refreshments for the Tea Style Show. Home Economics under the direction of Mrs. Lou Kirby completed a very successful year. The many garments constructed were modeled at the Tea Style Show. Earlier in the year, Kinsley hosted the District Make-It-Yourself-With-Wool Contest. Models in the Wool Contest MRS. KIRBY Home Ec.
