A heavy enrollment in typing necessitated three classes in typing this year. Other subjects in typing his year. Other subjects offered were bookkeeping, shorthand and office practice. L-shaped desks were received the second semester to help meet the recommendations of the North Central Evaluation Committee. Mike Springer shows his good form.

Social Science Curtis Blank cross-examines Larry Perez in mock court. Teaching the fundamentals of our political heritage are Mr. Martin, Mr. Ross, and Mr. Stuart. The courses offered this year in the social science field are American history, American government, psychology, sociology, economics, world history, social geographical history, and current history. Current history is a new course which deals with events since 1945. Through these many courses, the students have learned more about the traditions and history of the U. S., and the culture of the people around them. World History isn't always so serious. Current History visits City Library. Mr. Stuart teaching new course, Current History.

Home Economics Jana Is Outstanding Home Ec Student Students And Mothers Enjoy Tea Home Economics under the direction of Mrs. Lou Kirby completed a very successful year. Working with a variety of fabrics, the students constructed many different garments, which they modeled at the Tea and Style Show on May 6.
