SUPERINTENDENT MR. CROUCH Mr. Melvin Crouch is completing his eighth year as superintendent of the Kinsley School District. During this time many changes and improvements have been made in the school. A new wing was added to the high school housing the cafeteria and classrooms and the junior high transferred to Offerle. District 347 resulted with the unification of the Offerle and Kinsley school districts. Mr. Crouch has supported the school with his attendance at all school events. Administrators MR. MORELAND PRINCIPAL Mr. John C. Moreland, high school principal for the past four years, has been an able administrator for KHS. His interest in the high school has been evident by his thorough planning of school events and his attendance and support of all school activities. 5

Board of Education Mr. Woods, Dr. Eldon Gray, Dr. Atwood, Mr. Crouch, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Beck and Mr. Kersting. Mrs. Ptacek (not shown) is also a board member. The board of education under the guidance of Dr. Atwood, president, spends many hours in transacting the business of U.S.D 347 in order to make this a better school. No payment is received by these board members who devote the first Monday of each month, plus additional meetings, planning school affairs. Their work is done in order that we students may benefit. CONTENTS FOREWORD With the passage of years, may you look back upon this school year with pleasant memories. The hours spent by KHS students in studying English will prove to be the most valuable expended in their high school years.
