Our teams have won many victories, we have a larger and more capable enrollment, new goals have been attained by our organizations, and our school spirit spiraled to new heights as each and every student contributed to our school. The KIHISCHO staff proudly records the school season of 1964-1965. 2 berald Wayne Sibley, beloved teacher and counselors Kinsley High School, gan his life on November 10, 1919 and it came to a close on January 22, 1965, at the age of forty-five years. Mr. Sibley, who served in the Kinsley schools for seventeen years as a teacher ;a coach, an administrator, and a counselor, was a friend to a .. To his memory, jwe proudly dedicate this 1964-1965 KIH CHO. May his soul rest in peace. J KIHISCHO ROYALTY The Annual Box Social, held on March 25, announced the Kihischo Royalty for 1964-65. Dwight Werner and Diana Dan-ford were crowned King and Queen, and Richard Lippoldt and Shirley Feldman were crowned Prince and Princess. Dean Martin auctioned the boxes, and the program was an imitation of the Lloyd Thaxton Show. The Annual FFA Barnwarmer was held in the Vocational Agriculture Shop on February 27, 1965. The festivities began on Friday afternoon at 2:30 in the KHS auditorium with the FFA Assembly. The assembly was called to order by the President, Jarold Boehme, and his officers. During the meeting the Barnwarmer candidates, Pam Carlson, senior; Nancy Kingry, junior; Kathy Westfahl, sophomore; and Becky Lancaster, freshman; were tested to see what good farm girls they were. First in the testing process they made cement. Second, the candidates pounded nails in wood. Third, the girls milked sheep and fed the lambs. The Parent and Son Banquet was held March 18, 1965. Jarold Boehme, Dwight Werner, John Mehringer, Doug Strassburg, and Ronnie Poison attended the National FFA Convention in Kansas City, Missouri on Oct. 14-17, 1964.
