“K” LETTERMEN The sponsors of the K Lettermen Club this year were Mr. Guiot and Mr. Akin. The officers were Dick Grybowski, President; Verlin Schroeter, Vice-President; Gerald Schmitt, Secretary-Treasurer; Don Herron, Sergeant-at-Arms. The K Letterman Club is an organization for any boy who has lettered in any of the four sports during high school. As one of their many good deeds the boys donated a movie camera to the school. To earn the money for this and other projects the boys sold ballpoint pens with the sports schedules on them. The primary purpose of this club is to promote sportsmanship among athletes. Young salesmen. 29 Future leaders at work.

COUNCIL PLANS TEARS ACTIVITIES Members of the Student Council, with President Terry presiding. The purpose of the organization, known as the Student Council, is to develop responsible citizenship in the Kinsley High School by placing in the hands of the student body, duly represented as specified, the opportunity of conducting as many of the activities directly related to the student in his association with his fellow students as the Council shows itself capable of efficiently conducting. Student Council offers student participation in school government which is a support for the American way of life. Kinsley Student Council is in charge of such activities as planning the assembly programs for the year, striving for inter-school relationships, interesting itself in the general welfare of the school, promoting worthy projects, and presiding over the assemblies.

PEP CLUB LOTALLT SUPPORTS TEAM In all games, win or lose, the spirit of the Pep Club never ceases. Sandy Kingry, Secretary; Nancy White, Treasurer; Judith Bowman, President; Jane Schmitt, Vice-President; Stephanie Heit, Student Council. The Pep Club is well known for its constant and striving effort to promote pep and arouse school spirit. Other activities include decorating and sponsoring Homecoming and presenting skits for pep assemblies. A point system and uniform has been established by the Pep Club officers and will take effect next year. The Pep Club is sponsored by Mr. Wilson. 30
