Seton Hall Univ. M.A. The Guidance Department, under the direction of Paul De Francis, is a vital segment of the total educational program. The counselors are well trained to give advice to students concerning their educations at Kinneion High School. Guidance schedules various conferences throughout the school year to provide Juniors and Seniors with information pertaining to possible post-high school goals. Such conferences not only include colleges, but also business schools and branches of the armed forces. S. A. T.’s and similar aptitude tests are administered regularly to K. H. The Business Education Department, led by Victor Trotta, offers a wide variety of courses to prepare the student for the busniess world. The courses range from typing to bookkeeping. After graduation from these courses, many students become successful in businesses of their own or go into secretarial work. Certain business courses are offered for college-bound students. These are designed to aid the individual, including personal typing and notehand. Many audio-visual aids are used in these courses, and local businessmen and women are often invited into the classroom to familarize students with various enterprises.
