Mr. Phillip Martin Mr. Wayne Shipman Mr. Donald Gagner The Science Department . . . will have implemented two more programs during the school year 1972- l973. In the seventh grade, the students worked with new material in their introduction to life science. The teachers involved with this new program were: Mr. Shipman, Mr. Gagner, and Mr. True. For those students who took chemistry, Mr. Kinmond introduced and evaluated a new technique called the contract This technique allowed a student to complete a unit of work at his own rate, depending on his ability and interest in chemistry. When he successfully completed one unit of work, he proceeded to another unit. Also, during this school year, the science department worked on a curricu- lum project for grades 8-9. This was the development of mini-courses' in which the student selected five seven-week courses during each grading period from many different choices. Mr. William Wood MT. David Kinmond Mr. John True .,...,

Mr. Thomas Lovett . is in charge of busing accommodations, assigning teachers to special duties, disciplinary action, and, of course, enforcing school policies. His many duties are too great to enumerate, but he deserves a grateful word of thanks for executing them so faithfully. Through the years he has proved himself a fair but firm mang staff and students alike respect him. llCDCi Mr. Robert Morrison . helps the teaching program run smoothly, and acts as a mediatory between the student council and the school board. It is only through him that the students wishes are able to be brought before the school board to evoke changes in school policy. He and this rela- tionship have given Kingswood the fine reputation of which we are so happy to be a part. SQHQUR

Industrial Arts - Vocational Education . . . The addition of a new facility and the development of courses in building trades and recreational and service vehicle mechanics has greatly expanded the vocational education program offered to the students at Kingswood Regional High School. These new offerings, in conjunction with the existing business education program, provide the student an opportunity to enjoy actual work experiences during their high school careers. This experience can lead to a productive and rewarding commitment to society in today's world of work. The industrial arts program continues to systematically expand its offerings to provide learning experiences that will orient the student toward the technological resources available to him and thereby contribute to a freer human mind for greater creativity and individ- ual dignity. tfsppu . ..LL L..t ,, ,, .- -Q-k 4 J- -A J ii ii 5 . 5 I ' ' KJ 1, Mr. William Findlen Mr. Frank Tupper Mr. John Caneen if rst John Markowitz Mr. John Aron Mr. Carl Contois E
