DED sf ' 3 1 k....., . ' '55 395.ME?f'si-liifiiiiiiws... wrsisisfr.. ' iv Lisa U. Katurakes It is not often that a new teacher will take on yet another job after becoming the new cheerleading advisor. Still, Ms. Katurakes accepted the position of co-advisor for the seventh grade class in 1979. She has been with us since then, and a great deal has been accomplished during that time. As the new cheerleading advisor, her enthusiasm and cheerful disposition inspired us to become more involved in class activities. As a result, our seventh grade class won first place for our Wild West Float. She was also instrumental in designing the other four award winning floats. Additional contributions to our class include a memorable prom, a successful Senior trip to Florida, and two Powder Puff victories. All the hours of planning and dedicated service were greatly appreciated. Therefore, as a token of our graditude, we the class of 1984 dedicate the LANCER to Ms. Lisa Katurakes. 4

tw Dennis Mozier Nary five years have passed since Mr. Dennis Mozier entered the increasing eternity of Kingsway High School to educate eighth graders in the wonders of earth science. Later he would guide this same group of confused children through their graduation. Mr. Mozier took the reigns as co-advisor of the class of 1984 and brought us through the transition from junior to senior high. During this time, the class was responsible for many successful projects and activities. An unprecidented string of award winning floats was our major claim to fame. However, more important than Mr. Mozier's accomplishments and contributions to the memories of a graduating class was his patience and good humor which he constantly exuded through his tenure as advisor to the class of 1984. As the 1983-1984 school year and subsequently our high school days draw to a close, we can look back on Mr. Mozier and his many hours of dedicated and caring service with fond memories of a fine teacher, advisor and friend. Too often the deserving are left without a true, lasting idea of the heartfelt emotions and gratitude held so tightly within a large group of individuals. As our lasting tribute to a rare and unique man, we, the class of 1984, leave this yearbook as a token of our gratitude to Mr. Dennis Mozier. 5
