Last Will and Testament We, the Senior Glass of 1961, being of sound mind, do hereby make this our last will and testament. To the Juniors we leave our quiet seventh periods. To the Sophomores and the Freshmen we leave all the unat- tained scholastic achievements that we should have made, with the sincere hope that you will reach them. Individually-- I Harlan Baldwin, leave my ability to portray love scenes in the class plays to Bill Clayman. A little practice back stage always helps. I, Janet Bradley, will my love of masseurs to Georgia Hays. I, Sharon Brocklehurst, leave my patience to Nancy Carlson. Just remember to always count to ten first. I, Ted Brunell, will my ability to run distances to Joe Mihalick. It will eventually get you where your going. I, Alice Church, leave my cheering uniform to any girl who loves to cheer for K.H.S. as much as I have. 1, Fred Church, leave my bookkeeping practice set to any smart Junior. Have fun! I, Carol Daywalt, will my apothecary experiences to my sister, Marianne. I hope you have as much fun as I did. 1, Rosemary DePonceau, will my foul shooting ability to Ralph Brown. I'm sure you'll need it. I, Marilynn Emery, will my giggles to Gloria McCrosky. Hope you control them better than I did. I, Bob Gedeon, leave my used tees to Dave Flack. I surely hope they’ll help you out. I, John Gedeon, will my punctuality to Allyn Thiel. Just don’t forget your excuses. I, David Good, will my seventh period lab experiences to Don O'Bell. Be careful with those chemicals! I, Terry Hanson, leave my fabulous Feraro to Sandy Pickens. Please try to stay on the road and out of the trees. I, Mickie Hartman, will my composed air at basketball game? to Kay Wing. Just remember—be calm, be cool, and be collected. I, David Howard, will my gambling ability to Ronnie Platt. Now you too can cheat at cards. I, Janice Huey, will my ability to water ski to Susan Coursen. Make sure you use both hands. I, Harold Kister, leave my part time job to any ambitious Junior boy. If you work as hard as I did, you'll have it made in the shade. I, Loren Leatherman, leave my physique to Jack Ogren. Don’t forget those exercises. I, Robert Louden, will my driving mastery to my brother Roger. Boy, do you need it. J, John Luce, will my ability to think of things I shouldn't say to Ted Howe. Remember, just keep your thoughts to yourself. I, Augusts Magons, leave my 880 track shoes to Roger Osburn. Hope they help you out as much as they did me. I, Marilyn Mansfield, will my shortness to Marilyn Baldwin. I'm sure she'll use it to her advantage. I, Loretta Marrison, will my scooter-riding ability to Miss Sowry. Don't worry about accidents, the Vespa has crash bars. I, Shirle McConnell, will my driving ability to anyone lucky enough to have an automatically controlled car. Believe me you'll need it! I, Carol Meyer, will my future plans to Brenda Means. Make sure you tell us all about them. I, Carol Page, leave my typing eraser to Patsy Chapin. I hear she needs it more than I do. I. Janet Page, will my ability to go steady to Sandy Masick. It couldn't go to a more deserving person. I, Janice Reed, leave all the teasing at lunch time from Mr. Bruckman to anyone willing to take it. Remember, it just takes patience. I, Dick Sherwood, leave my office experience to my sister, Penny. Good Luck! I, Ray Vanek, leave my long, curly hair to Mrs. Hartman. It will end those nightly pin-ups. I. Norman Walbridge, will my Falcon to Mary Ann Fiala. Please try to avoid the cops. I, David Wolfgang, will my singing ability to anybody that's interested. Just have a cowboy hat and guitar and you’ll be ready for anything. I, Bill Yoak, will my bongos to Dick Ford. Senior One fine day in June of 1966, Shirle McConnell and Sharon Brocklehurst were on their way to their latest assignment, the King Ranch in Texas. They are the proud co-owners of the famous Shirle and Sharon's Super Sewer Service, and this place has quite a problem. They were putting along the road as nice as could be in their Stanley Steamer when Stan decided he just wouldn't steam anymore. Just as they were picking up the last of the stray pieces, who should drive up but Terry Hanson in his FURY wrecker. He always was pretty popular at accidents. It seems he has his own wrecker service now, which is a fast-growing business. His slogan is, If you can't slow 'em down, I'll tow 'em. While they were waiting at Terry’s garage, a delivery boy brought Terry's lunch. It was none other than Hustlin' Harry Kister. He's the best delivery boy in town now. He says he got so speedy by running away from women. Then the bad news came. Terry was all out of baling wire, and there would be a slight delay while he got some. Shirle and Sharon decided to go into town. As they were walking up the street, they noticed a shop which was painted a shocking pink with black lettering . . . LOREN’S LOVELY LADIES. Upon entering, they found Loren Leatherman working with his favorite model, Janet Page, who was modeling the current rage, leather leotards. Turning to leave, they noticed some comotion over in the corner. When they went over to see what it was all about, they found Carol Meyer standing in the middle of the melee. She was screaming at a forlorn- looking beauty operator; and when they looked at him a second time, they saw that it was their: old classmate, John Luce. He had made a slight mistake. She had wanted her hair blonde; and instead of peroxide, he had picked up the vanishing cream, and her hair had vanished. It was beginning to get serious, so Shirle and Sharon ran out into the street, where they tripped over a mound. When they picked themselves up, they discovered it was Carol Day wait. She's working for the government now. Almost every person in the United States sees her work everyday. She paints the yellow lines on the roads. They were leaving Carol to her work when Robert Louden came around the corner and sold them a newspaper. He is now the supervisor of all newspaper boys everywhere. When they asked him how business was, he said that it was fine; except that since Mars had joined the Union, he had been having a hard time keeping in touch. While reading the paper, they noticed that one article filled a whole page. It was an advertisement to join Bradley's Broken Heart's Club. It said that through Janet's club, 1,134,000 people have found happiness. It was getting to be almost noon and Shirle and Sharon were beginning to feel weak from hunger. From further up the street, a delicious aroma of coffee was coming, and they thought they'd get some. When they entered the shop, they found Dick Sherwook sitting at a desk concentrating intently on something. When they got his attention, he told them that he had a VERY important job--It seems he has to make sure that there are forty-three beans in every cup of NESCAFE. He also said that he and David Howard had gone into partnership. They have a coffee and donut shop, and Dave has the impressive job of putting a hole in every donut. His pay is $5 a week and all the holes he can eat. 18
