Linda Sue is now working for the United States Mint. She works in the department which makes special square coins for the super market slot machines. She tells us that Lois will not be able to at- tend the banquet. Lois has graduated from college and is now living in Philadelphia. She is a psychiatrist and had to work overtime with a convict, named Desperate Percy, who was about to be released from the state prison. As we were making the rounds, we met several of our classmates. Linda Westcott is now president of the stock market in New York. Along with this busy career, she has a family of ten boys. By a strange coincidence, each has the name of Ronnie. I don't have to tell you that she married Mr. Geoffrey Saucer Canterpickle, XVI., descended from the original dilly. Barbara Meyer is now an engineer for the Bromo-Seltzer train on television. She worked her way up from fireman of headaches to engineer of super-colossal brain eruptions. We always knew that Barbara would get a job with great responsibility. Ladimir Kubichek is now employed with the Bellum Broodes- wine Circus. He performs on the flying trapeze with the greatest of ease. As we remember, Ladimir was always up in the clouds at school. David Kister now owns the Kister Trucking Company. He has in- vented a new convertible sports-model dump truck. When he sees a beautiful girl walking down the road, he pushes a button. The top comes down, a large hand tips his hat, several wolf whistles blow, and a special organ grinder plays Oh, You Beautiful Doll! Betty Schlick went to India to study the flute when she graduateo There she became interested in being a snake charmer. She leads a busy life charming snakes and her four children. Shirley is now leading a successful life as a television actress. After Sergeant Bilko retired, she took his place. We knew Shirley would succeed in something like this by the way she yelled at the basketball games. After Carol Oren discovered a new kind of soap, Dusitall Cheer, she decided to take up as a life-time occupation the job of washing the windows of the Empire State Building, which has been moved to Kingsville. Carol doesn't mind the altitude because of the cute guys that have offices in this building. Charles Page now owns a Chevrolet Dealership here in Kingsville. He has come out with a new model for 1979, the Fair-E-Laine. We are very surprised to find that he was a Chevrolet man because of the way he used to love Fords! When we asked him why he changed to Chevrolets, Charlie said, Times change and so do thoughts! After we had eaten, we went to compliment the cook on the fine meal. To our surprise, we found that James Meyer was the Chief’ cook. He always was cooking up something in school. He specializes in fricasseed frog legs. We were sorry to have this reunion come to an end, but we are looking forward to the next reunion when we shall see all our famous classmates again. 18

Prophecy On a beautiful summer day, July 4, 1978, we, John and Lucille, were driving to the Class of '58” reunion at the Mansione Night Club. As we were driving down from Cleveland to Kingsville, we passed through Ashtabula, which is now a suburb of Kingsville. We noticed how much it had changed. Upon passing a gambling casino, John said that, after an act legalizing gambling in Ohio was passed, he had built one of the largest gambling casinos in the world. Then we recalled how he always had liked to match pennies! Then John asked Lucille what she had been doing. He was very shocked to learn that she was the famous rock n' roll singer undei the professional name of Hortensal, The Local Vocal. She said that her latest hit record, Sour Grapes and Sweet Lemons, earned her a million dollars. As we drove on, we noticed this large rocket port owned by Ted Blank. It is one of the largest rocket ports in the world. Ted is known world-wide for the powerful rocket fuel that he has invented, made out of Prestone and a pinch of salt. As we rode on, we decided to take in a show at the Kingsville Arena. Who should be the star of the show but one of our classmates, Bob Andrejack? He is a famous bullfighter from the West Coast. We were surprised to learn that these bulls were shipped to the arena from the Short-Tailed, Long-Homed Cat Ranch. The owner is the former Betty Ingramm. She is married to Jason Organstrugle, a Texan, and they have four little Texans. As we left the arena, we decided to stop at the school. We rode the levator up to the tenth floor to see Miss Sowry. We found that she had vacated to California and that Mr. Ronnie Huey had been teaching all the commercial subjects. He seems to remind us of our school days with his short shorts and crew cut. One thing that especially reminds us of our school days is to see Miss Sowry's cane embedded in the wall from the time she tossed it at Ronnie. Pleasant memories! Since it was getting late, we headed for the Mansione Night Club. The proud owner is Carol Gran. She has just retired from her famous career as a mountain climber and is now managing this lovely mountain retreat. As we entered the club, we saw Claude and Fred over in the corner talking. We went over to see them. Claude was telling Fred of his farm. It is one of the largest farms in the nation. He specializes in raising no-steal cabbages. Fred told us that he is now a stock-rocket driver at the Here to the Moon and Back by the Way of Mars Race Track. Fred is very enthusiastic about driving these stock rockets. As we were talking, two familiar girls walked in. They were Loraine and Linda Sue. Loraine has toured Europe and now models summer sports clothes and bathing suits for L. E. G. S., Inc., almost universally pronounced as one word. 17
