At the beginning of the year, we elected officers They were as follows President—William Hochschild, Vice President—Ivars Magons, Secretary—Claudette Slater, and Treasurer—Nancy Westcott. Bill Konnert is our student council repre- sentative. We were initiated this year and Boy! Was it terrible! After it was all over, we had to treat the sophomores to refreshments. A dance was sponsored by the freshman class October 2. The gym was dec- orated with the school colors and balloons were hung from the ceiling. The music was by records. On December 18 we had a Christmas party. We exchanged names for gifts and refreshments were served.
