Honor Students THIRD Daniel Packey Daniel Packey is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Packey of E. Sani- lac Rd. Mayville. His future plans are to attend Central Michigan University. Judy Wanamaker is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Wanamaker of Legg Rd. Kingston. She plans to attend Sagi- naw Business Institute. FOURTH Judy Wanamaker Ellen Moore is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Moore. Ellen plans to attend Spring Arbor College. Gloria Cameron is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cameron. Eastern Michigan University is where she plans on attending. FIFTH Ellen Moore FIFTH Gloria Cameron Nancy Chappel is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garth Chappel. Presenting Top Ten Valedictorian Carol Rayl •Miss Carol Rayl is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Rayl of Plane Rd. Silverwood. She was born on March 5, 1952 and has attended Kingston Community School since the eighth grade. Carol has been a member of the National Honor Soci- ety, a cheerleader, F. H. A. , Student Council, annual staff, librarian and an officer of her class. Her future plans are to get a job and then later marriage. Salutatorian Mike Heacock Mr. Michael Heacock is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Heacock. He was born March 25, 1952 and has attended Kingston Community School for two years. Mike has been active as a student teacher and has worked in the office. He plans to attend Michigan Technological University where he plans on taking an Electrical Engineering course. 18

NINTH Ray Wolak TENTH Ed Bilicki EIGHTH Don Trzemzalski Don Trzemzalski is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Trzemzalski. Don plans to further his education at C. M.U. Ray Wolak is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wolak. He plans to attend M. S. U. in the fall. Edward Bilicki is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bilicki of Deford. Ed's future plans are to attend C. M. U. National Honor Society The purpose of the N. H. S. is to honor those members of grades 9-12 who are outstanding in Leadership, Character, Scholarship and Service. Students are nominated by a teacher. Then each teacher is asked to rate each nominee on leadership ability, character and service to school and community. The rating sheets along with the student's scholastic average and interview with the nominee by a Faculty-Administrative Committee are used to make the final choice of members. This years inductees are: Michael Heacock, Gloria Cameron, Chris Cherniawski, Deane Matquardt, Kim Parker and Linda Anger. A candle light induction ceremony is planned March 25, 1970.
