It has the responsibility of establishing the policy of the Kings- ton Community School. The board attempts to provide a good educational program for the area and approves the school sched- ule or calendar. Revisions in curriculum, school budgets, con- tracts, money raising activities, and adoptions of any new text- books must all be duly approved by the school board. The board of education also functions as a member of the Michigan Association of School Boards and helps support and maintain membership in the Tuscola County School Board Asso- ciation . 4
