Standing R Cunnungham K Lowe Seated R Vunurua S SGFNDSON R Osterhoudt J Krk, M Scheffel J Geber Class of 1948 Year by year un steady stream senuor classes take theur place of leadershup un the school then go separ ate ways out unto the world We the class of l948 led by Rex Cunnungham Ruth Vunung Sara Sampson and Ken Lowe have left our mark upon the school and now at thus moment of departure pause to say goodbye Thus was an hustoruc year because the Senuor Prom wuth uts wushung well magnufued by Vunce Edwards band was so colorful because our play Peg O My Heart was such a funushed performance and because the basketball team for the furst tume won an Inter Sectuonal champuonshup These events we wull remem ber but also we value the patuent guudance and un derstandung of our parents and teachers especually our class advusors Mr Culver Mrs Norwood Mrs Partlan Muss Tarrant Mr Bauley and Mr Vaughn who helped us to carry our plans to successful com pletuon So wuth thought of gratutude for those who have helped us and best wushes to those who wull follow the class of 48 now uouns the great company of those who call K H S theur Alma Mater Class of 1949 The Junuor Class consustung of more than three hundred and fnfty members after a luttle delay sought formal organuzatuon early un January Thus was accomplushed by the electuon of the class offucers Those selected for the executuve posts were Presu dent Bob Osterhoudt Vuce Presudent Jacquelune Kurk Treasurer Jack Gerber and Secretary Marulyn Scheffel A commuttee of fuve members was nomunated to select the most appropruate class jewelry Plans for the Jumor Hop held May l were soon underway through the efforts of the Forty Nuners The class us greatly undebted to uts advusors Muss Barnett Muss Fellows Mrs Boyd Mr Doheny and Mr Etuenne for theur unterest and sound advuce Havung now completed three years of our hugh school career the Class of 49 looks forward to uts senuor year overflowung wuth ambutuon and wuth great hopes for a brught future 1 Stand ng J Ba no utz V Swa son D Meyers P Ta A Bu ke W Hansen snug R Colange C Pery Class of 1950 We the members of the Sophomore Class feel that a very successful year has been completed For the furst tume un many years the Sophomore Class has been organuzed completely We elected Douw Meyers Presudent to guude us through the year He was assusted by Patrucua Tarr Audrey Burke and Wullard Hansen Vuce Presudent Secretary and Treasurer respectuvely We cannot for get also the help guven us by the Sophomore Councul un audung the offucers un theur uob of governung Among the hughlughts of the year were the Sopho more Party the formatuon of new clubs for sopho mores our partucupatuon un other clubs of the school and our pucnuc at the end of the year We extend our congratulatuons to our outstandung basketball team and wush ut contunued success We are very grateful to our advusor Mr Woodard for help and cooperatuon throughout the year Ezghteen Class of 1951 The percentage of the class of l95l that owes uts freshman year to the Myron J Muchael School has gotten along very well wuth last year s changes and has made quute a bug change utself We have elected class offucers They are Presudent--Cornelua Perry Vuce Presudent Valorue Swanson Secretary Joan Barnovutz and Treasurer Rosetta Colange The My ron J Muchael School also unaugurated a serues of twenty sux raduo programs They started October l6 l947 and the last program was heard Aprul l5 l948 Thus very successful udea was supervused by Muss Mary Kelly The Student Councul and the MJ M Chatter have progressed wonderfully Mr Streufers Dramatuc Club presented three plays thus year The Patchwork Quult Grandma Pulls the Strung and Babs Goes Dramatuc As usual they went over bug We are of course antucupatung our entrance to K H S next year but are sure most of us are goung to muss our wonderful M J M : .
